Choosing Your Network

Ludopoly is deployed across a broad range of blockchain networks spanning Layer One chains, optimistic rollups, and zero-knowledge rollups. The right choice for you depends on your priorities. Networks with lower transaction fees make individual moves and card plays more cost-effective. Networks with faster block times can reduce the time between submitting a travel proof and seeing its confirmation.

What Your Wallet Holds

Your wallet in the context of Ludopoly holds several asset types. Your Account NFT establishes your identity and cannot be moved to another address. Your WorldFeatureCards — consumable multi-token assets — live in your wallet between sessions and are available for use whenever you enter a room. Treasury NFTs earned from successful treasure claims are stored as wallet assets that can be held, traded on secondary markets, or kept as records of competitive achievement.

Cross-Chain Asset Movement

The platform's native token can be moved between supported networks using the built-in cross-chain token infrastructure. This process burns tokens on the source network and mints equivalent tokens on the destination network, maintaining a consistent total supply across all chains. The security of this process relies on chain-specific domain separation in the signing logic, which prevents any cross-chain replay of transfer authorisations.

Keeping Your Secret Safe

The most critical security consideration for Ludopoly players is the user secret stored by the client application. This secret is the private input for every zero-knowledge proof you generate and is the only thing that allows you to verify your own position hashes. Unlike a seed phrase, this secret is application-specific. Back it up in at least one secure offline location, because losing it would sever your ability to participate in any future game sessions with your current account.
