Playing in Good Faith
Ludopoly is built on the premise that strategy and intelligence win games, not exploitation. The protocol's zero-knowledge architecture makes most forms of cheating impossible by design — you cannot fake a valid travel proof, you cannot fabricate a treasure claim, and you cannot replay a past move. What the protocol cannot prevent through mathematics, it addresses through community governance and social accountability.
Community Standards
Every participant in the Ludopoly ecosystem is expected to engage with the social dimensions of the game in the spirit of competitive integrity. Coordinated manipulation of room moderation votes, targeted harassment of specific players, and attempts to exploit informal social dynamics for systematic advantage are contrary to the community standards that the DAO enforces.
The community moderation system provides structured remedies for serious misconduct. A formal warning, a chat restriction, a gameplay suspension, and permanent removal are all available responses, each calibrated to the severity of the behaviour. These measures are proposed and voted on by community members, not imposed unilaterally.
The Weight of Permanent Identity
Because your Account NFT is soul-bound, your reputation in the Ludopoly community is permanent. Behaviour that damages your reputation score cannot be reversed by creating a new account, since doing so would also mean starting your progression from zero. This design creates a natural alignment between long-term self-interest and positive community participation.
Responsible Participation
Token-based gameplay involves real economic value. Players should engage with the game's economic dimensions thoughtfully, understanding that card values fluctuate, that room entry fees represent real expenditure, and that the strategies that generate the most value in the long run are built on genuine skill and community engagement rather than short-term exploitation of information asymmetries.
